Job Description:
We are looking for motivated, intelligent and innovative Web Design professionals with 1+ years’ experience for full-time opportunities to fulfill our clients’ online objectives. The candidate will be responsible for the web site’s visual appearance, layout and usability. Using a combination of technical knowledge and graphic design skills, the web designer will develop, implement and write design codes for client’s web site. The candidate’s knowledge about how his/her design will affect search engine optimization results will be an added advantage.
Duties
* Liaising with the client at the design stage to answer queries regarding requirement of the site, target audience, leading competitors etc
* Creating an attractive design with all the desired features and a logical navigation system
* Writing web pages using a combination of codes like HTML, Javascript, Flash, Java, Actionscript or Perl and employing code-generating programs like Dreamweaver
* Deciding on how pictures and other materials will be optimized digitally and presented on the web
* Ensuring easy accessibility of the material on the web site to everyone, including people with disabilities
* Testing the site’s functionality at different resolutions and in different browsers
